Channel Configuration
What is Channel Configuration?
Channel Configuration is where you connect and manage your messaging channels — WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram DM. Each channel needs to be set up before you can send and receive messages through it.
Supported Channels
| Channel | What it connects | What you need |

| Your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) | A verified WhatsApp Business Account and phone number | |
| Facebook Messenger | Your Facebook Page | A Facebook Page with admin access |
| Instagram DM | Your Instagram Business Account | An Instagram Business Account connected to a Facebook Page |
How to get there
- Log in to the portal
- In the left sidebar, click Settings
- Click Channel Configuration
Channel overview
The Channel Configuration page shows all your connected channels with their current status:

|---|---|
| Channel | The messaging platform (WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram) |
| Connection status | Connected (green) or Disconnected (red) |
| Account/Page name | The name of the connected account or page |
| Quality rating | For WhatsApp — your current quality rating (Green, Yellow, Red) |
Getting started
- Start with WhatsApp if you haven't connected your WhatsApp Business Account yet
- Add Facebook Messenger to enable Messenger conversations
- Add Instagram DM to handle Instagram direct messages
