Compose Message

What is Compose Message?

Compose Message lets you send template messages to one or more contacts as a broadcast across WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram. Instead of messaging each person individually, you can select your channel, choose your recipients, pick an approved template, fill in the details, and send it all at once.

Think of it as a mail merge for your messaging channels — you choose who to message, pick a pre-approved template, and the portal fills in each person's details automatically.

The three-step process

Sending a broadcast message is a simple three-step process:

Step 1: Select Channel
→ Choose WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, or Instagram

Step 2: Contact Setup
→ Choose who will receive your message

Step 3: Template & Parameters
→ Pick a template and fill in the details

Send Message!

Each step is an expandable panel on the left side of the screen. A green checkmark appears on each panel when it's ready, and the preview on the right shows you exactly how your message will look.

tip

Select your channel first — this determines which message options, contacts, and recipient methods are available.

Before you begin
  • WhatsApp: You need at least one approved template. If you haven't created any templates yet, go to WhatsApp Templates first.
  • Messenger / Instagram: No pre-approved templates needed — you can compose text or structured messages directly.
  • Make sure your channel is connected to the portal. See Channel Configuration for setup instructions.
