| Minimum | 1 character |
| Maximum | 255 characters |
| Must be unique | No two campaigns can have the same name |

Reply Action
Controls what happens when a contact replies to a campaign message.
| Option | Behavior | When to use |
|---|---|---|
| Stop | The campaign stops immediately for that contact. No more messages are sent. | Sales campaigns where a reply means a human should take over |
| Continue | The campaign continues sending messages regardless of replies. | Educational series, course delivery, announcements |
| Restart | The campaign restarts from the beginning for that contact. | Re-engagement campaigns where a reply shows renewed interest |
- Most campaigns should use Stop — when someone replies, they expect a human response
- Use Continue only for truly one-way communication like course lessons
- Use Restart sparingly — it can feel repetitive if the contact keeps replying

What you can change while active
Once a campaign is active, you cannot change most settings. Here's what you can and can't do:
| Setting | Can change while active? |
|---|---|
| Campaign name | No |
| Description | No |
| Reply action | No |
| Message steps | No |
| Timing/delays | No |
| Add more contacts | Yes (via the Enroll action) |
| Remove contacts | Yes (via the Unenroll action) |
To make changes to an active campaign, you need to archive it and create a new campaign (or duplicate and modify the copy).
