Filtering Chats

When you have many conversations, filters help you find exactly what you're looking for. Click the filter button (funnel icon) next to the search bar to open the Filter Chats drawer.

Available Filters​

The filter drawer has multiple filter options. You can use one or combine multiple filters to narrow down your conversations.

Channel​

Filter conversations by messaging channel:

All ChannelsShow conversations from all channels (default)
WhatsAppShow only WhatsApp conversations
Facebook MessengerShow only Messenger conversations
Instagram DMShow only Instagram conversations

Assigned Agent​

Filter conversations by the agent they are assigned to.

All AgentsShow all conversations (default)
Specific agentShow only conversations assigned to that agent

Contact Group​

Filter by the contact group the customer belongs to.

Message Status​

Filter by the delivery status of the last message:

Need ReplyConversations where the customer is waiting for a response
Nearing ExpiryConversations where the 24-hour window is about to close
UnreadConversations with unread messages
FailedConversations where the last message failed to send
DeliveredLast message was delivered
ReadLast message was read by the customer
RepliedCustomer has replied to your last message
SentLast message was sent but not yet delivered

Lead Status​

Filter by the lead qualification status. The options are dynamic based on your configured lead statuses, each shown with its color indicator.

Sent By​

Filter by how the last message was sent:

Date Range​

Filter conversations by message date:

  • Message Start Date — Show conversations from this date onward
  • Message End Date — Show conversations up to this date

Use both together to see conversations within a specific period.

Lead Broadcast​

Filter by a specific broadcast campaign. Useful for tracking responses to a particular campaign you sent via Compose Message.

Template​

Filter by conversations that used a specific message template. Templates from all channels (WhatsApp and Messenger) are available in this filter.

Lead Tags​

Filter by tags assigned to leads. This filter supports multiple tags and has two matching modes:

Match Any TagShow conversations that have at least one of the selected tags
Match All TagsShow conversations that have all of the selected tags

The tag matching mode dropdown appears after you select one or more tags.

Applying and Resetting Filters​

At the bottom of the filter drawer:

Active Filter Chips​

After applying filters, colored chips appear below the search bar in the chat list. Each chip shows:

  • The filter name and selected value
  • An X button to remove that specific filter

You can also click Clear All to remove all active filters at once.

Filters stay active as you browse different conversations. Use Clear All when you want to go back to seeing all chats.
